Self Love Meditation

Find a Comfortable Space: Sit or lie down in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed.

Relax Your Body: Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this a few times, letting go of any tension with each exhale.

Focus Your Mind: Imagine a soft, warm light surrounding you. This light represents peace and relaxation. As you breathe in, visualize this light filling your body, and as you breathe out, imagine any stress or negative thoughts leaving your body.

Begin to count down slowly from 10 to 1. With each number, feel yourself sinking deeper into relaxation.

At each count, repeat to yourself, “I am becoming more relaxed, more at peace”.

– 10: Feel the lightness in your toes.

– 9: Allow this lightness to travel up your legs.

– 8: Let it reach your knees, dissolving any tension.

– 7: Feel your thighs relax.

– 6: Your hips and lower back feel at ease.

– 5: Your stomach and chest relax, filled with light.

– 4: Your shoulders drop, releasing any burden.

– 3: Your arms and hands become light.

– 2: Your neck and jaw unclench.

– 1: Your entire body is now deeply relaxed.

Repeat the following affirmations mentally, or listen to them if you have a recording:

– “I appreciate my body for all it does for me.”

– “I am worthy of love and respect.”

– “Every part of my body is unique and valuable.”

– “I embrace my imperfections as part of my beauty.”

– “I choose to love myself unconditionally.”

Imagine standing in front of a mirror. As you look at your reflection, see yourself smiling with genuine affection. Notice the details of your face, the curves of your body, and feel a wave of gratitude wash over you. Imagine this feeling expanding, filling you with warmth and acceptance. See yourself surrounded by a soft glow of self-love.

Begin to count up from 1 to 5, slowly bringing yourself back to full awareness. With each count, feel more energized and positive.

– 1: Becoming aware of your surroundings.

– 2: Feeling the energy returning to your body.

– 3: Starting to move your fingers and toes.

– 4: Taking a deep breath in, feeling refreshed.

– 5: Open your eyes, feeling awake, calm, and filled with self-love and acceptance.
